Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are fearing the worst for Adrian after Jurgen Klopp left him out of his squad against Aston Villa last night.
The Reds faced a youthful Villa side in a third-round FA Cup tie.
But there was no sign of the veteran Spanish goalkeeper anywhere in Klopp’s 20-man squad.
Adrian, who joined Liverpool in the summer of 2019, was recently displaced as Alisson’s deputy by 22-year-old Irishman Caoimhin Kelleher.
And with Alisson making the bench last night instead of Adrian, some fans of the Premier League club believe that the end is close for the former West Ham United star.

If you’re Adrian, leaving probably is the smart choice.
The 34-year-old still has a lot left to offer other top-flight clubs around Europe and he surely doesn’t want to waste the twilight of his career being Liverpool’s third-choice stopper.
He has served the Anfield club well and although there was quite a few hairy games along the way, he’s done his bit, but Klopp clearly doesn’t need him anymore and it’s probably time to move on.
