Leeds United fans praised Kyle Bartley’s actions on Sunday following their 3-1 win against West Brom on the final day of the campaign.

It was an emotional afternoon for those at Elland Road, including a small section of fans who were allowed back into the stadium for the first time this season.

Club legends Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi played their last game for Leeds and they were both given an emotional send-off.

When Berardi, alongside Hernandez, was subbed with 20 minutes left on the clock, both players looked emotional, with Bartley comforting the Leeds defender.

Leeds fans were full of praise for their former player and his class actions.

It was a lovely touch from the defender, who is now tasked in trying to help West Brom make a return to the Premier League next season.

Given that both West Brom and Fulham went straight down, it just goes to show the amazing job Marcelo Bielsa has done in Yorkshire.

But come the summer, they have to progress once again, including replacing Hernandez and Berardi in that Leeds dressing room.

They may not have played much this season, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have much presence on the training pitch and in the dressing room.

Either way, Leeds fans liked what they saw from Bartley yesterday:
