Daniel Farke has told The Daily Mail that reported Arsenal targets Emiliano Buendia and Max Aarons could be sold this summer.
Arsenal have been linked with moves for Norwich duo Buendia and Aarons in the summer transfer window.
Eurosport reported in March that the Gunners will make an offer for the Norwich attacking midfielder in the summer of 2021.
90min reported in April that Arsenal are confident of bring in Aarons from Norwich as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin.
Norwich will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship, but manager Farke has told ex-Canaries striker Chris Sutton in an interview for The Daily Mail if big offers come in, then the club will sell both Buendia and Aarons.
Sutton asked Farke: What if nice bids come in for, say, Buendia and Aarons this summer? They would be impossible to replace, surely?
Farke responded: “Difficult to replace, but no player is bigger than the club. I am realistic. I know I work for a self-funded club. It is part of our model that we develop players and once there’s a crazy offer, this club will sell. We will always have to be creative in the market.
“There’s no guarantee that if you bring in Buendia, a 21-year-old from the Spanish second league, he will go this way but thank God he did. Of course it’s easier to spend £20m on a quality player. But this club cannot do it and sometimes we will have to sell our best players.
“I remember the sale of James Maddison (to Leicester for £22m in 2018). Without that fee, I’m not sure the club would even still exist. We were under unbelievable pressure.”

Farke’s comments make it clear that Norwich will sell Buendia and Aarons at the right price.
This should encourage Arsenal, and perhaps the Gunners should start preparing bids now.
The summer transfer window will open soon, and it is important that manager Mikel Arteta gets his business done in time for pre-season training.
Martin Odegaard is only on loan from Real Madrid, and Buendia would be his replacement in attacking midfielder.
The 24-year-old has played in the Premier League before, and the attacking midfielder would be able to make an immediate impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Bellerin has not looked the same player since coming back his long-term injury, and given that Aarons is only 21, he would be an upgrade on the Spaniard.
