‘This can’t be real’: Some Liverpool fans react to more frustrating news from last night

Liverpool fans just cannot believe their luck of late because when everything is seemingly going against them, it seems as though more woe is piled on top.

Youngster Neco Williams was benched by Wales’ stand-in coach Rob Page last night after he shared that he ‘took a kick to the foot’ during their clash against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.

Page shared that ‘it’s a little bit sore’ for Willaims [read here] and it seems there is another unnecessary problem added to Jurgen Klopp’s mounting list.

Whilst Liverpool fans are hopeful that this injury isn’t too serious, they are just seemingly frustrated at the situation they are in.

One thing is for sure, they will be without Mo Salah for Sunday’s clash against Leicester City, including Joe Gomez.

It could be argued that Williams was going to fill in for the already injured Trent Alexander-Arnold, but it will be touch and go now.

Liverpool fans will be hopeful that Williams will be fine in a few days time, but either way, it’s just another worrying situation that Klopp has to deal with.

Those on Merseyside will be hoping their luck changes during these coming weeks because the toughest part of the season is set to kick in.
