Yannick Bolasie has said on Twitter that Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will not be a good signing for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on January transfer deadline day.

The former Everton winger does not think that Jorginho is the type of midfielder that Arsenal need at the moment.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that the Italy international midfielder is on the verge of leaving Chelsea for London and Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 31-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Gunners.

Chelsea’s Jorginho a good signing for Arsenal?

In our view, Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will be a good signing for Arsenal, at least for the rest of the season.

Yes, as Bolasie points out, the midfielder is not a player who is very physical and makes it really hard for the opposition players to break down, but he is one of the better players around.

The Euro 2020 finals winner with Italy is very good on the ball, passes it well, can make good tackles, and reads the game well.

We think that Jorginho, who has won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League with Chelsea, would be a good midfielder to have in the squad for Arsenal.

The Gunners are aiming to win the Premier League this season, and Jorginho’s presence will enhance their chances of doing just that.
