The January transfer window is just around the corner, and Diario Gol report that Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to raid Real Madrid for midfielder Dani Ceballos.
Spurs are in poor form right now, having taken just two points from their last four Premier League games, and manager Mauricio Pochettino may eye up a rare January signing to boost his squad.
Another midfielder appears to be on Pochettino’s radar, and Diario Gol claim that Spurs have asked about a January deal for Real misfit Ceballos.

The 21-year-old playmaker joined Real over the summer after not only starring for Real Betis, but also for the Spanish Under-21’s, but he has found first-team football hard to come by under Zinedine Zidane.
With just 11 appearances in all competitions, with only four being starts, Ceballos is stuck behind the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, as well as two recent Tottenham targets.

Playmaker Isco has emerged as one of Zidane’s most important players in 2017, but the London Evening Standard reported in October 2016 that Spurs were hoping to land a permanent deal for the midfielder, only for Real to stand firm and snub their interest.
Just last week, Real chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez told Sportske Novosti in Croatia that Tottenham also attempted to sign Real midfielder Mateo Kovacic over the summer, but the Spanish giants are not interested in letting him leave.
Having missed out on Isco and Kovacic – two players ahead of Ceballos in the Real pecking order – Pochettino may finally be hoping to land a Real midfielder at the third time of asking.
