Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that PSG don’t want to sign Serge Aurier.
It wasn’t too long ago that the Spurs defender was expressing how he will not extend his contract in North London.
Aurier even suggested, whilst speaking to French outlet L’Equipe, that he had an agreement in place to join PSG.
Well, all of that has seemingly hit him in the face because Italian outlet, Gazzetta, have suggested that it’s Achraf Hakimi of Inter Milan, who is the man on PSG’s wishlist, as their management team isn’t keen on bringing Aurier to the club.
Spurs fans have made it clear that they are annoyed at this rumour because it now means that their life will be more difficult in trying to move the error-prone right-back on.
It’s no surprise to the Tottenham supporters that Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t want Aurier because he saw both sides to the £23 million player during his days at the club.
But Aurier has, no doubt, put himself in a sticky situation if he is still at the club next season.
Given that he expressed a desire to leave, the already-frustrated Tottenham fan base will be even more critical of him next term if he puts a foot wrong.
But, of course, all of these situations can change at any moment, so it will be interesting to see what happens with Aurier’s future during these coming weeks.
It won’t be a surprise if he’s not a Tottenham player by the time the transfer window slams shut.
And judging by the reaction from the Spurs faithful then it seems they want him out:
