West Brom forward Callum Robinson has reacted on Sky Sports Instagram page to the rumours that Ben Davies is closing in on a move to Liverpool.
Liverpool are set to make a number of late Deadline Day deals, including Preston’s 25-year-old centre-back.
During his days at Preston, Robinson played alongside Davies, so he knows exactly what the soon-to-be Liverpool player is all about.
And when Sky posted on their Instagram page that Liverpool had agreed on a fee for the Preston man, Robinson wrote this following message in the comments section:
“Things you love to see,” said Robinson. “Go on Davooo,” added with a heart emoji.
Only last week, it seemed as though Liverpool were going to opt against bringing in cover at the back with Fabinho, Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson sharing the spoils.
But the constant injury problems to Matip, and Fabinho seemingly catching what his teammate has, all resulted in a last-day push from the Premier League champions.
Whilst Davies is an unknown figure and he has zero experience of England’s top-flight, Liverpool don’t have much to lose with his potential signing.
