Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 today in the North London Derby.

Spurs were well and truly out-classed by the Gunners in the North London Derby today, and Thierry Henry was critical of Harry Kane in the aftermath of the match, suggesting that the Englishman was not at it, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old has been sensational for Tottenham this season, but was absent from international duty with England over this past fortnight with a re-occurrence of a hamstring injury.
It was touch and go whether Kane would be fit for his side’s clash with Arsenal at the Emirates today, but he made the starting line-up, with Pochettino opting for the 24-year-old to lead the line on his own for the Lilywhites.

It turned out to be the wrong decision, however, with the England international proving to be ineffective, before being replaced by Fernando Llorente after 75 minutes.

And Henry, who scored a record 228 goals for Arsenal, highlighted how the Spurs hitman was quite simply not at the races today, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“He wasn’t at it, the way he was. No excuses, he played, but he wasn’t quite there.”

Whilst it was obviously a calculated risk by Pochettino to play Kane, he might just be lamenting the fact that he did not play Llorente from the start.
Arsenal were so superior from start to finish though, and it would likely not have made too much difference.
