Thierry Henry said on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, March 15, 2021) that he admires Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker also mentioned Manchester City chief Pep Guardiola, Brighton and Hove Albion boss Graham Potters and Scott Parker of Fulham as the managers he admires.
Henry made the comments while discussing his managerial career so far and his footballing philosophy.
The former France international striker was an assistant manager for the Belgium national football team before taking charge of AS Monaco and Montreal Impact.
Henry said on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, March 15, 2021) when asked if he admires Potter: “Yes, I do, like Bielsa, like Pep, like Scott Parker.”
Marcelo Bielsa is a legend
Henry is just starting his managerial career, and it is great that someone as young and ambitious as him looks up to Bielsa.
Bielsa may not have had a lot of success in winning trophies, but his methods and style have influenced managers such as Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine is doing a wonderful job at Leeds at the moment, with the club doing better than many expected them to in the Premier League this season.
As for Henry, perhaps the Frenchman will find a new managerial role soon.
