Thierry Henry has not ruled out taking the Celtic job, when asked on the Robbie Fowler podcast.

Celtic are still searching for a new boss after parting company with Neil Lennon.

At the moment the Bhoys have John Kennedy in charge, but there is a feeling that Celtic will look to appoint a longer term boss in the summer.

Steven Gerrard, one of Henry’s rivals as a player, of course took the Rangers job.

And when asked if he had applied for the post at Celtic, Henry responded by saying: “With all humility, whatever is going to come my way – I’m not saying that should come my way.

“Whatever is going to come my way I’m going to try to evaluate. I’m sure they’re going to work on what they’re going to work on.

“I don’t know what’s happening there, this is a club I respect a lot, but that I don’t know about.”

Henry’s managerial career so far has seen him take charge of Monaco and Montreal Impact.

He has a rather mixed track record, but his appointment could be exciting for Celtic supporters.

As a player Henry was one of the finest to ever have played in the Premier League, and he would certainly bring a huge amount of interest with him, if he was to arrive at Parkhead.
