Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has impressed so far this season.

Pickford has pulled off a number of excellent saves this term, and has been one of the few bright spots at Goodison Park.
Everton have endured a highly disappointing season to date, and currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table.
And Henry claims that Pickford being Everton’s player of the season, shows that Sam Allardyce’s side’s are performing poorly.
“He’s been the most consistent player for Everton. Not only for minutes, but also what he is doing on the field. That tells you a lot if your goalkeeper is the player of the season,” the Arsenal legend said.

Pickford was once again over-worked in Everton’s most recent match against Burnley.
The former Sunderland man made a number of saves over the contest, but he was unable to stop Everton from slipping to a 2-1 defeat.
Pickford actually took some criticism for his role in Everton conceding their first goal at Turf Moor, as he was slow off his line.

Pickford is now battling to claim a place in England’s World Cup squad, and Gareth Southgate was in attendance at Burnley yesterday.
Pickford’s main rival for the England goalkeeping spot appears to be Stoke City’s Jack Butland.
