The Arsenal star was one of the key men as Wales reached the semi-finals of the competition.

Quoted by FourFourTwo, Thierry Henry has told the Sun that he thinks Aaron Ramsey was better than Gareth Bale at Euro 2016.
Wales were one of the dark horses at the competition in France as they made it to the semi-finals before defeat to eventual winners Portugal.
Naturally all attention was on Gareth Bale at the tournament given the superstar status he has earned for himself during his time in Spain.

It was not a one-man show by any means though, with Wales’ success very much built on teamwork.
Several players rose to prominence as a result, with Ramsey among them, and Henry says he believes that the Arsenal man was better than the Real Madrid star.
“You are always going to talk about Gareth Bale as he was outstanding, but for me Aaron Ramsey was as good, if not a bit better,” FourFourTwo quotes him saying.
“Maybe he didn’t score the six goals that Griezmann scored but assists, goals, energy, defending, going forward – hopefully that can be good for Arsenal if he can come home and play the same way.”

It remains to be seen where Arsenal decide to use Ramsey next season after his performances this summer.
He has often been used on the right wing at the Emirates Stadium but he has openly admitted his desire to play centrally and shone in that position for Wales at the European Championships.
However, Arsenal’s midfield is a highly competitive one to say the least and he may have to accept a right wing spot once again.
