Some Liverpool fans have praised Thiago on Twitter for showing his class immediately after Spain’s win against Switzerland at Euro 2020 tonight.

Thiago is part of the Spain squad at the ongoing Euro 2020 finals.
The former European and world champions have booked their place in the semi-finals of the competition at the expense of Switzerland.
The quarter-final tie this evening finished 1-1 after extra time.
Spain won the dramatic penalty shootout 3-1 to book their place in the last four.
Thiago came on as a substitute in the 113rd minute of the match.
What happened after full-time whistle?
Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer did his best during the penalty shootout.
However, the Borussia Monchengladbach star could not keep all of the penalties out.
It was a very good performance overall from the 32-year-old.
And Thiago knew that.
Immediately after the final penalty in the shootout which confirmed Spain’s progress to the last four, the Liverpool midfielder went to Sommer to console him.
It was a very graceful act indeed.
Thiago could have just gone to his Spain teammates to celebrate the win.
Instead, the former Bayern Munich star, rated highly by Neymar, stopped to console Sommer first.
That is classy.
