Thiago Alcântara has revealed that ‘everybody loves’ Andrew Robertson at Liverpool in a revealing Q&A session on Twitter yesterday.

The Spain international answered a range of questions, from whether or not he has pineapple on his pizza, to his favourite Beatles song.

However, when he was asked who his funniest teammate was, the former Barcelona man began to shower Robertson in praise.

Liverpool’s Twitter account quotes Thiago as saying: ‘100% Robbo. He’s a very funny guy, a very natural person. Everyone loves him and I think he’s a great teammate.’

It’s clear from the midfield maestro’s quotes that the Scotland international is a hugely popular figure on Merseyside.

Robertson – who earns £50,000-a-week at Anfield – is more than just a good teammate, however.

The former Hull City man is arguably the best left-back in the world right now, and is displaying a level of consistently that is simply unbelievable.

Robertson has scored once and registered five assists in the Premier League this season, which is excellent work from a full-back.

Also, as WhoScored shows, the 26-year-old completes 1.9 key passes and 2.2 crosses per game – he is so dangerous down the left.

Furthermore, what is arguably one of Robertson’s best traits is his availability.

While the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been absent at times this season, the Scot has been an ever-present for Jurgen Klopp, starting all 17 Premier League games this term.
