And Liverpool fans urged Thiago to join them after his tweet on social media.
If Thiago was to join Liverpool he would add even more creativity to their midfield ranks.
The 29-year-old is one of the most technically adept players in world football, and he would surely increase the quality available to Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Liverpool have so far been reluctant to pay Bayern’s asking price for Thiago, but that could change in the coming weeks, as Klopp hunts for additions.
