Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise Liverpool for a piece of business that they’re reportedly working on.
The deal in question is one that would see Lille colossus Sven Botman leave Ligue 1 to join the Premier League champions.
According to Duncan Castles, Liverpool have spoken to the Dutchman’s agent.
Speaking on The Transfer Window Podcast, he said: ‘Liverpool are working on a deal. That is Sven Botman, in his first season at Lille from Ajax for an initial €8 million (£7.1 million).
‘They have been speaking to Botman’s agent. Botman’s agent likes the sounds of the conversations and believes there is a strong possibility of a January bid.’
Everything that Castles says makes this deal seem like it could well happen.

Foot Mercato – who state Lille signed the centre-back from Ajax for €8 million (£7.1 million) – have also reported on Liverpool’s interest in the 20-year-old.
Additionally, the player himself posted a cryptic Instagram message recently.
Botman posted an image of himself in his agent’s office, along with a love heart emoji and a handshake emoji.
That could mean absolutely nothing. However, if you’re a professional footballer during a transfer window and you upload something like that, people are bound to talk about it.

Impressively, Botman has taken to life at Lille like a duck to water.
The defender has already made 17 league appearances, helping his side sit second with the second-best defensive record behind Paris Saint-Germain.
Let’s see what Arsenal fans have been saying about Liverpool and Botman…
