Real Betis left-back Alex Moreno admitted he is flattered by links with the likes of Leeds United, while speaking to BeIN Sports.
Manuel Pellegrini must be dreading the summer transfer window already.
Because it seems that, with every week that passes, another of his in-form Betis players is making himself comfortable in the gossip columns.
Amid reports suggesting that Nabil Fekir, Guido Rodriguez, Emerson Royal and William Carvalho could all leave for the Premier League, new-found speculation over Moreno’s future is hardly a welcome development.
TEAMtalk claim that Leeds are looking to bring in a left-sided defender to provide competition for the versatile Stuart Dallas.
And Moreno, the swashbuckling Spaniard with a £35 million release clause, has joined the likes of Romain Perraud and Miguel Gutierrez as potential additions to Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
“It is true that they have called my agent, big clubs, but I don’t know anything,” Moreno said when asked to reflect on the reports.
“I’m focused on finishing LaLiga by qualifying for Europe with Betis.

“My agent has told me to focus on Betis, on the games that remain. It is the task of the agents.
“(But) it is a source of pride that big clubs notice me.”
27-year-old Moreno joined Betis in the summer of 2019 from Rayo Vallecano and has started 19 La Liga matches this season, whether at left-back or further forwards on the wing.
