Phil Foden has talked up West Ham United’s Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek ahead of England’s game against the Czech Republic on TalkSPORT.
Foden has come up against the West Ham pairing multiple times this season, and they have always given a good account of themselves.
West Ham put up a very spirited fight against City at the Etihad Stadium, and also picked up a point against Pep Guardiola’s side at the London Stadium earlier in the campaign.
On both occasions Soucek and Coufal played very well.
And Foden spoke highly of the West Ham duo ahead of the England’s game on Tuesday.
“Difficult opponents,” he said.
“They’re two great players who have done very well for West Ham this year. Let’s just hope they have an off day when they face us!

“But no, they are two great talents and they have done really well this year.”
Foden no guaranteed starter?
Foden’s place in England’s starting line-up may actually be under threat in midweek.
The City man has started in both of Gareth Southgate’s side’s matches to date, but he has only had a limited impact.
The 20-year-old hasn’t quite provided the spark England were hoping for, with the Three Lions only scoring one goal at the tournament so far.
If Foden doesn’t feature it could be that Jack Grealish steps in for him on Tuesday evening, as England fans have been calling for.
