Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after some 24-second footage of Dane Scarlett playing against Chelsea’s Under-23 side emerged.
The clip in question shows the 16-year-old wonderkid being a bit of a nuisance against the Blues, much to the annoyance of the commentators who sound fed up, to say the least.
He’s being a good kind of nuisance, in our view – kind of like how Jamie Vardy and Diego Costa wind opponents up to their advantage.
The footage shows Scarlett initially standing in the way of Chelsea’s freekick, so they can’t take it quickly.
He then kicks the ball away, pointing to where he thinks the set-piece actually should be taken about ten yards behind its initial position.

It’s the kind of spikiness that we presume José Mourinho will love to see from the prodigy.
One fan even commented that it’s clear he’s been ‘moulded’ by the Portuguese coach.
Aside from his antics off the ball, Scarlett also put Chelsea to the sword on their own west London turf earlier.

He netted twice in Tottenham’s 6-1 win over the Blues, taking his tally for the season to 22 goals in just 21 appearances.
The boy is absurdly talented – it’s clear that he’s already too good for this level of football.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about what he did against Chelsea…
