Hal Robson-Kanu has claimed that the ‘majority of the teams’ in the Championship would want to sign Leeds United quartet Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, Sam Byram and Karl Darlow.
The former West Brom striker praised Leeds United for bringing those players to the club this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.
Robson-Kanu added that Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, Sam Byram and Karl Darlow all have ‘fantastic experience’ and they are ‘quality’ players, as he told Sky Sports Football (18/08/23).
All of the above players have previously had Championship experience, with Byram, after leaving Norwich City this summer, making a return to the club where it all started.
Three of those players have now started to feature on a regular basis for Daniel Farke, with Darlow playing a back-up role to Illan Meslier.
Whilst talking about the quality Leeds have brought to the club, Robson-Kanu spoke highly about the players.

“When you look at Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Sam Byram, as well as Karl Darlow,” said Robson-Kanu. “They have all got fantastic experience and they are quality.
“If you were to speak to the majority of the teams in this league and you would ask them if they would add those players to their starting XI, I think a high proportion of teams would do so. They are positives in that.”

Leeds trying to motor forward amid the chaos
A lot of players have left the club this summer, all on-loan, of course, whilst Wilfried Gnonto is refusing to play despite starting the opening match of the season.
Not only that, Farke probably hasn’t brought in the volume of players he would like.
Either way, Leeds are trying to motor forward amongst the chaos, and if they don’t finish in the top-six this season, then this start to the campaign, none of Farke’s fault, hasn’t helped matters.
