
Southampton fans seem to feel that they will be getting the better of the deal if Tottenham Hotspur trade them Kyle Walker-Peters for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Sky Sports claim that Tottenham and Southampton are interested in doing a swap deal, with negotiations now starting between the two sides.
Walker-Peters has been out on loan at Southampton from Spurs and impressed, while Hojbjerg apparently wants a move to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
And Southampton supporters believe that they would be getting the better of the deal, if Tottenham do go through with the swap.
Hojbjerg could offer Tottenham what they have been missing this season if he was to arrive.
The Danish international would provide Spurs with more defensive protection, which they have been lacking this term.
Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Giovani Lo Celso all have played in central midfield for Mourinho’s side this term, but none of the trio are as strong defensively as Hojbjerg is.
