Rhys Williams has told Goal.com that Liverpool front three Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are a ‘pain’ to come up against in training.
Mane, Salah and Firmino remain one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attacking trios.
And Williams, who has just broken into Liverpool’s first-team set-up this season, admits that having to train against them is a huge challenge.
“It’s a headache!” he said. “There’s been a complete step up in my game in terms of defending, I’d say, because trying to defend against those three, it’s a pain.
“They train like it’s a match, so you know you’ll get 100% from them, no matter what. They’re never not up for it. It’s a nightmare defending against them!”
Salah, Mane and Firmino are likely to have been even more driven in Liverpool training this week.

The forward trio have all taken on board some criticism of late, with Liverpool failing to fire.
The Reds have now not been able to hit the back of the net in any of their last three matches, with their performances becoming a real concern.
Liverpool are next in action later this evening, when Salah, Mane and Firmino will surely be determined to break their duck against Burnley.
