Rival supporters suggest that Tottenham Hotspur would be making a brilliant appointment if they brought in Julian Nagelsmann.
The Athletic claim that Nagelsmann has admirers at Tottenham, while the Daily Mail also say that the RB Leipzig coach could be a possibility if Jose Mourinho does go.
Mourinho doesn’t seem to be under any immediate threat of the sack at Spurs yet.
However, supporters of other clubs feel that Nagelsmann could get far more out of Tottenham’s squad than Mourinho has been able to.
Nagelsmann’s stock was dented somewhat last night, as his RB Leipzig side struggled in the Champions League against Liverpool.
However, the argument that the 33-year-old would be a better appointment for Tottenham than Mourinho certainly is an intriguing one.
Nagelsmann doesn’t have the track record of success that Mourinho does, but his is considered one of the most forward thinking managers in world football.
His high-pressing and attacking approach could suit Tottenham’s squad more than Mourinho’s, which has often left them looking stifled going forward this season.
