Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to Nuno Espirito Santo potentially become Everton’s next boss.

The recent end to the Premier League season, and the forthcoming weeks, have sprung a few surprises on the managerial circuit.

The first being Nuno parting ways with Wolves, after a number of successful seasons at the club, and then Carlo Ancelotti heading out of Everton and re-joining Real Madrid this week.

Whilst Wolves have been on the lookout for a new manager, they are now being joined by Everton, but it seems they won’t be fishing in the same pond.

Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that Nuno has started talks over taking the reigns at Goodison Park, with Everton’s owner, Farhad Moshiri, a big fan of the ex-goalkeeper.

But during the recently concluded campaign, they took a bit of a hit, and whilst they didn’t get dragged into a relegation battle, for most of the campaign, they sat in the bottom half.

And now Wolves fans have shared their thoughts on Nuno heading to Merseyside, where expectations are a lot higher and he will be set a more difficult task if he’s appointed.

Style of play was brought up by the Wolves fans and it seems as though the Goodison Park faithful shouldn’t get their popcorn out too quickly because they might not be entertained as much.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Wolves fans sharing their thoughts on Nuno possibly becoming Everton’s new boss:
