Bristol City are set to welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Ashton Gate tomorrow.

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicted the outcome of tomorrow’s Championship clash between Bristol City and Wolves, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports.
The heavyweight clash will be eagerly anticipated by both fans and players alike, with the outcome of the game likely to have a huge bearing on the Championship title race.
The Robins head into the clash as arguably the division’s in-form team, although the Black Country outfit would have something to say about that.

Lee Johnson’s men have chalked up five wins and a draw in their last six league outings, and currently sit in second spot in the table, eight points adrift of tomorrow’s opponents.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, meanwhile, have been sensational from the very first game of the season, and currently sit top of the pile, having not lost a league game since October.
Prutton wrote his prediction column for Sky Sports, and explained why he cannot split the two clubs:

“This is a second tough trip for Wolves just a few days after visiting Millwall on Boxing Day, and Bristol City will be right up for this one at Ashton Gate. It’s been an incredible season so far for Lee Johnson and his players. When these two sides met in September it was one of the games of the season as Wolves nicked a late 3-3 draw, and this should be another entertaining game. I can’t split them though, score draw.”
Prediction: Bristol City 2-2 Wolves
A win for Wolves at Ashton Gate tomorrow would all but end the Robins’ hopes of winning the Championship.
All three points for Johnson’s side, however, really would throw the cat amongst the pigeons in the title race.
