Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react after watching footage of Jesse Marsch, in what was his first press conference since joining Leeds.
What’s the story?
Well, ESPN journalist Taylor Twellman posted footage of Marsch speaking ahead of the Premier League clash between Leeds and Leicester.
Lineker responded to Twellman’s post to wish the 48-year-old well at Elland Road, and defended him against those who may not take Americans seriously in football.
There have already been many Ted Lasso jibes aimed at Marsch, but the BBC Match of the Day host believes he will be adored no matter where he’s from, as long as he succeeds.

It’s nice to see the 61-year-old send his best wishes to Marsch, who has a seriously tough job on his hands in Yorkshire.

Leeds have conceded the most goals in the Premier League this season with 60 concessions in just 26 games.
The Whites are also just two points off the relegation zone, and have played one game more than Burnley, who sit 18th in the Premier League.
Leeds have also won just three of their last 17 games, and are without a victory in their last six outings.
It has been a miserable campaign so far, and with only 12 games remaining, Marsch has no time to waste.
Whatever the American decides to start working on at Elland Road, he must ensure he gets his message across quickly and clearly.
If there is no ‘new manager bounce’ – so to speak – then Leeds could easily find themselves back in the Championship next season.
