Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed to the Liverpool Echo that Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate will be starting for Everton tonight.
Everton are set take on Leeds United later this evening, as they look to bounce back from defeat against Newcastle United.
And Ancelotti is set to make changes, as he looks to freshen up his side.
“I think the spirit was a collective situation, it wasn’t that only two players [were out],” Ancelotti said.
“Apart from this, players like Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman showed a good spirit personally.
“So I don’t think the fact that these two players were not there affected the spirit. The spirit was affected by the collective thought of the team.
“They will play tomorrow [vs Leeds], yes.”
If Godfrey does play it seems most likely he will line up on the right-hand side of Everton’s defence, with Holgate taking his place in the centre.

That could mean that Seamus Coleman and Yerry Mina drop out to make way for the pair.
Everton are actually under a fair amount of pressure to pick up the three points tonight if they want to stay within touching distance, but doing so will be easier said than done.
Leeds have won their last two matches in a row, and Marcelo Bielsa’s team look to be back to their very best.
