Victor Osimhen and Gabriel Magalhaes will leave Lille this summer, manager Christophe Galtier has told Canal Plus with the likes of Everton and Liverpool linked with the Ligue 1 duo.
It seems only a matter of time before a powerhouse striker and a Brazilian centre-back are following in the footsteps of Nicolas Pepe, Eden Hazard, Rafael Leao, Gervinho and more.
Lille are used to seeing their star players depart on an annual basis and this summer is not going to be any different, even if the transfer market has been flipped on it’s head by the ongoing global health crisis.
Osimhem, on the back of an 18-goal debut season at Lille, has been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool by Sky in December.
His agent told AllNigeriaSoccer just days ago that both Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Reds had been in touch.
The £30 million-rated Gabriel, meanwhile, looked set to join Everton after passing a medical with the Toffees back in March (Independent). The trail has grown cold since but, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side still looking for defensive reinforcements, he could still end up at Goodison Park.
“If I expect Gabriel, Osimhen or even Ikoné to leave? Yes, I integrated it. I don’t want them to leave, but they will leave,” Galtier says, as translated by Le Petit Lillois.

Jonathan Ikone is another Lille star who has been linked with Everton this summer, via LeFoot.
The £60 million-rated winger, who loves to cut inside onto his lethal left foot like Arjen Robben in his peak, could forge a formidable attack alongside Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park.
