Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool easily this weekend.

The former Chelsea striker believes that Liverpool will suffer a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Chris Sutton predicts Arsenal v Liverpool

Sutton wrote on BBC Sport: “It felt like Lawro never predicted Liverpool to lose at all in more than 20 years of his predictions – but I don’t just think they will get beaten on Sunday, I think they will get hammered.”

While predicting a 4-1 win for Arsenal, the BBC Sport pundit added: “I think Liverpool will score, even though they have not quite clicked yet this season, but Arsenal’s attacking talent are going to cause them a lot of problems at the other end.”

Who will win?

In our view, the Premier League match between Arsenal and Liverpool will not be one-sided.

We do not agree with Sutton’s 4-1 prediction in favour of the Gunners.

Yes, Arsenal have a very good and strong team and are also in great form at the moment.

And true, Liverpool have not been great so far this season, but we cannot ignore the fact that Jurgen Klop has some of the best players in the world at his disposal.

Mohamed Salah remains a force to be reckoned with, and Alisson is one of the best goalkeepers on the planet.

Yes, Arsenal could win the match, but there is no way that they will be able to get four goals past Liverpool this weekend.

No way.
