Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports Premier League (2:37pm, May 22, 2022) that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will miss out on the Premier League title to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City today.
Liverpool are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 89 points from 37 matches, a point behind leaders and last season’s champions Manchester City.
Klopp’s Liverpool will face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield in the Premier League today.
Guardiola’s City will take on Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on the final day of the season.
Former Manchester United defender Neville has backed City to get the job done against Villa and win the Premier League title for the second season in a row.

Gary Neville on Liverpool v Manchester City title race
Neville said on Sky Sports Premier League (2:37pm, May 22, 2022): “I think this would be a good feeling for City today. I think they will see it out.”
Who will win Premier League title?
In our view, Manchester City should win the Premier League title today ahead of Liverpool.
We expect Liverpool to pick up all three points against a Wolves side who are not doing so well at the moment.
Now, Villa will hope to end the season on a high, and manager and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard will also want to beat City and give the fans something to shout about.
But, in our opinion, City are too strong for Villa.
