Following the match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in London today, Sam Parkin has said on BBC Sport that Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United will not get relegated from the Premier League.
Leeds suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Palace away from home in the Premier League today.
The West Yorkshire club actually took the lead in the match in London.
But Palace launched a comeback and picked up all three points from the match in the end.
Leeds are now 14th in the Premier League table with nine points from eight matches.
Jesse Marsch’s side are only three points above the relegation zone.
Like Leeds, Palace are also in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Patrick Vieira’s side are currently 15th in the standings with nine points from eight matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
Sam Parkin, who was on the books of Chelsea from 1997 until 2002 and had a loan spell at Millwall, believes that Leeds will not get relegated.
Verdict on Leeds United’s relegation chances
Parkin said “Leeds have shown that they are capable of upsetting the top sides in this division. Getting consistency and the forward players in better positions over time means they will be fine. They are better than some of the teams in the division right now but that was probably the right outcome today.”
