Tim Sherwood told Premier League Productions that he feels sorry for Tottenham forward Gareth Bale.
The Sky Sports pundit shared that players like the now-injured Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son play ‘every minute’ for Spurs and there is ‘no rotation’ from Jose Mourinho.
Bale started for Spurs at the weekend as they suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League – this time to Brighton.
Sherwood claimed that because Bale hasn’t been used properly by Mourinho, it means that the left-footed speedster simply isn’t ready to produce the goods for the team.
“I feel sorry for Gareth,” said Sherwood. “He’s not played games and it looks like he hasn’t played games.
“Now, Jose will come out and he will criticise them players. But they haven’t had a look in. They haven’t had the game time and there has been no rotation. It’s been one game plan. It’s been, Kane and Son. They play every minute of every game.
“Them other players, who he has asked to come in and play now, they haven’t sampled any game time. Only in the Europa League when they are playing against the pub teams and in the League Cup.
“You are asking Gareth in a game away at Wycombe to go and play then to go and play against a team, who are fighting for their life – it’s not going to happen. I am pleased he threw Gareth in, but he’s totally not ready. He’s not been conditioned to get ready.”

There was a lot of excitement in the summer from Spurs fans when Bale returned to the club.
But it’s not working out for him. Not because of his qualities but because of the lack of game time on the pitch.
That trend will only continue if his game time remains limited because this transfer is only heading one way, at this moment in time.
