Rio Ferdinand has made it clear that Tottenham need to get Dejan Kulusevski signed up on a permanent basis, as he told Vibe with Five.

The 21-year-old is on-loan at Spurs from Juventus following his January move from Turin to north London.

Despite walking into a team with indifferent form, Kulusevski has hit the ground like a duck to water.

He could argue that he has perhaps been the signing of the January transfer window – three goals and six assists from his 11 Premier League matches.

Ferdinand offered his brief thoughts on the player and started he is a ‘bad player’ in a positive way.

“Dejan Kulusevski is a bad player,” said Ferdinand. “They have to make that permanent.”

To stand out on a number of occasions when you have Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son part of your front three is some effort from the player.

For next season, Spurs fans can confidently say that Son, Kane and Kulusevski are their front three for the long-term and one that can possibly add a trophy to their cabinet.

The only cloud over Hotspur Way is whether Kane signs a new deal because Son did so at the start of the season and now it’s a case of his fellow record-breaking teammate following suit.

Regardless of what transfer business Spurs do in the summer, Kane signing on the dotted line, along with Conte, is what the fans crave the most.
