
It’s getting closer for Leeds…. They can taste Premier League football, but they are well aware that they aren’t there yet.
Mateusz Klich, who scored and assisted during Leeds’ 3-1 win at Blackburn on Saturday, shared how he told his girlfriend that he ‘cannot play worse than I did against Luton’, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The Leeds faithful loved Klich’s brutal honesty, who also added that he ‘wanted to score’ and it’s ‘about time’ that he did following the clash at Ewood Park.
Whilst the Championship leaders would have been disappointed with only one point at bottom-of-the-table Luton last time out, they showed their true worth once again yesterday.
Even though Klich felt that he seemingly didn’t play well against Luton, one thing Marcelo Bielsa does is he sticks with his players and that paid off against Blackburn.
The Leeds fans shared how they can ‘relate’ to the players more given their honesty during interviews as the connection between players and fans is there for all to see.
That will grow even further if the club can get over the dotted line and earn promotion back to the promised land.
