Callum Wilson has joked that West Ham United ‘don’t want’ Chelsea and Everton transfer target, Michail Antonio anymore, as the Newcastle United striker told The Footballer’s Football Podcast.
Whilst it’s going plain sailing for Wilson at Newcastle, one of his good friends could be out of the door at West Ham, especially given the rumours that they are going to sign Danny Ings from Aston Villa.
Michail Antonio has only scored two goals at relegation-threatened West Ham this season and Wilson stated that ‘sometimes your face don’t fit’.

Despite Antonio’s struggles in East London, a fair few Premier League clubs are keen on the player, including Frank Lampard’s Everton, Midlands outfit Wolves and even London rivals Chelsea looking at a possible loan move for the 32-year-old.
Well, given that Antonio is already a back-up option under summer signing Gianluca Scamacca, then he is only going to fall further behind if and when Ings arrives.
And after Antonio spoke about his future, he got this response from Callum Wilson in regard to what could happen to him this month.
“When it’s such a serious subject like that I feel the banter has to stay aside a little,” said Wilson. “It can get sticky like that.
“Sometimes players feel like they need change. Sometimes the club want to part ways with you.
“By the sounds of things…” Wilson then proceeds to pause, not say anything and burst out laughing. “West Ham don’t want him anymore! I am joking!
“You know in yourself as a player what you bring to the table. Sometimes your face doesn’t fit. Sometimes the club wants to go in a different direction. Like you said, they want to start playing football now. Unless they are going to boom it down the channel, then that’s not you.”

ANTONIO NEEDS TO LEAVE
It would be a surprise if Antonio now stays on board, as he could possibly help another team survive relegation this season.
Everton are in the drop zone alongside the Hammers, whilst Wolves are also in danger, so will David Moyes be keen on letting his player go knowing that he could prove to be a detriment to them?
But if they are getting Ings through the doors, added with other attacking bodies, then they are probably not fussed.
