Cesc Fabregas told Match of the Day on Monday night that reported Arsenal target, Alexander Isak, is Sweden’s ‘main man’ at Euro 2020.
The 21-year-old is a sought-after player, with Arsenal big admirers of the towering £60 million attacking talent, according to The Athletic.
On Monday, he started for his country and he put in a pretty impressive performance despite his Sweden side having only 15% possession of the ball against Spain at Euro 2020.
Isak seemed like a lone figure on many occasions during the goalless draw, yet despite that, he was still using his 6ft2 frame to the best of his ability.
But before the match, Fabregas spoke highly of the Real Sociedad striker and how he once wowed him against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
“He is their (Sweden’s) main man, especially up front,” said Fabregas.
“I remember he had a fantastic performance against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu where he scored two goals.
“They couldn’t handle him.”

It does seem as though the Premier League is a future destination for Isak, who was named the best young player in La Liga this season.
But Arsenal will have to go a long way to try and lure his talents towards their direction given that they aren’t even in Europe.
If Isak produces the goods at Euro 2020 then his stock will only rise and it will become more difficult for reported parties, such as Arsenal, to try and snap up his talents.
