Tim Sherwood told the Kelly and Wrighty Show that Mo Salah will be sold by Liverpool because they ‘continually do it’ and they ‘continually get it right’.

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk about Salah’s future making the rounds on Merseyside, with Jurgen Klopp brushing off claims that his player is ‘unhappy’, as he told Sky Sports.

At the peak of his powers now, Liverpool’s left-footed speedster is playing some of his best football and even with key men being injured, he’s ensuring that they aren’t being missed.

Sherwood thinks that those sitting in the Liverpool boardroom have proven that they know what to do in the transfer market, as the former Spurs boss believes the champions will part ways with their £200k-a-week star [Spotrac].

“I would have trust in Liverpool in that they know what they are doing in the transfer market,” said Sherwood. “They have proven that over recent times.

“I think when Mo Salah leaves, they will get a profit for him. I think they will get money for him. They won’t allow him to run himself down to the ground and be worth no value. They will have someone to take over

“Luis Suarez left and everyone said ‘how can he leave?’ and ‘how are we going to ever replace him?’ They won nothing with Luis Suarez. Coutinho was the same. They continually do it and they continually get it right.”

If Salah does end up leaving Liverpool then the potential buyers will have to pay some serious dough for his talents.

But it does seem as though only a handful, if that, of clubs would be able to prize him away from Anfield and then put the money on the table.

The two Spanish sides, PSG, Bayern Munich and perhaps Juventus are the ones who would be able to do that, but then again, that would be narrowed down to just the two from La Liga given their status.
