Kevin Campbell told the Highbury Squad Podcast that Tottenham fans ‘cannot take it’ after losing to Arsenal and then getting knocked out of Europe on Thursday.
Whilst one side of North London has endured one of its better weeks of the season, the other has had an absolute horror show.
After Tottenham lost at the Emirates last Sunday, the last thing they wanted to do was blow a two-goal lead in the Europa League, but they did just that.
Ex-Arsenal striker and Sky Sports pundit, Campbell shared what his Tottenham-supporting mates have been like during this past week.
“What would we do without them,” questioned Campbell. “I love seeing Mourinho’s face. I love seeing his face and you know what he’s good at which is chucking the players under the bus.
“You cannot do that. You have to be the manager, especially after that. My goodness. Wow, wow, wow!
“Do any of you have Spurs friends who you have been winding up and they cannot take it because I have a couple of Spurs friends, believe you me, who are just not taking any calls or anything?”

For Tottenham, it’s a case of just getting back to winning ways and limiting the damage that has been caused upon them.
Understandably, many are calling for Jose Mourinho’s head, and in truth, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s not Tottenham manager next season.
But this is a declining squad, a team that hasn’t been refreshed properly and those at the top need to take responsibility, but it’s going to be Mourinho who is going to take the majority of the hits.
