Owen Hargreaves has raved about Celtic trio Jota, Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada on BT Sport 2 (10:59pm, November 4, 2021).
The former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder was impressed by the performances of the three Celtic forwards against Ferencvarosi away from home last night.
Jota, Furuhashi and Abada all scored, as the Hoops won the Europa League Group G game 3-2.
Abada and Furuhashi also provided an assist each last night.
Hargreaves said: “They are terrific. They interchange, they take up good positions, Jota, Kyogo and Abada, they were brilliant, they were so dynamic.”
Big players for Celtic
Jota, Furuhashi and Abada all joined Celtic in the summer of 2021.
And they have already become important players in Ange Postecoglou’s team.
Celtic are doing well at the moment, and the front-three appear to have developed a brilliant understanding among themselves.
The Hoops are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 23 points from 12 matches, just four points behind leaders Rangers.
The former Scottish champions are third in Europa League Group G with six points from four matches, a point behind second-placed Real Betis and four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
Things are looking very positive for Celtic at the moment.
