Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has shared Liverpool’s plans after Mohamed Salah’s revealing interview with Marca.
The Egyptian once again refused to play down rumours of him moving to La Liga, and as you can imagine, that has led to a lot of speculation on his future.
As ever, Romano has his finger on the pulse, and he’s delivered Liverpool’s view on the situation after this interview.
“The interview was with Marca, talking about, as you said, playing in La Liga and opportunities one day of playing in La Liga. Why not, he said. Mo Salah is a humble guy, I think he is so honest in interviews when he says ‘one day, why not?’ He’s played in Italy, he’s played in England, so why not one day join one of the best clubs in Spain?” Romano said.
“There is nothing at the moment, and what I want to say is Liverpool are planning with Mo Salah, are planning also with other stars like Mane and many others, so they’re not looking at the situation like they’re worrying something is going to happen. At the moment it is so quiet on the Salah side, they are planning on the same structure also with Klopp on the bench.”

It seems as though Liverpool aren’t keen on losing Salah anytime soon.
The Egyptian is arguably the Reds’ best player, so why would they want to let him go?
Yes, the winger may have ambitions to play in Spain one day, but both Real Madrid and Barcelona are in a perilous financial situation at the moment, so it’s no surprise to hear everything is quiet on that front.
It seems as though there isn’t big reason to be worried about Salah if you’re a Liverpool fan.
