Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool got the better of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham 2-1 in North London on Sunday.
Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah scored both the goals for the Merseyside club.
England international striker Harry Kane pulled one back for Tottenham in the second half.

And Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson was impressed by his two teammates.

Alisson said: “For me, I just try to be ready to go for the ball and come for the high catch to help the team because I know it’s a difficult situation.
“The opponent players are running against our movement and it’s still not easy.
“I’m there to try to help but I have two big men in front of me, Virg and Ibou, they are amazing on that aspect as well.
“But all of the team worked really well together trying to block crosses and trying to not make the crosses easy for them.
“In the end, we could keep the three points [and] that was the most important thing.”
Liverpool played well against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, and Alisson, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate all deserve credit for the win for the Merseyside club in the Premier League game.
Jurge Klopp’s side have not been great defensively so far this season, but things are starting to fall into place now.
Van Dijk is starting to get back to his best, and Konate remains a very promising and talented young player who will improve with a run in the team.
