Erik Lamela has established himself as an important player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela has told the club’s official website that he always gives his best during matches.
The Argentina international, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has stated that when he is not playing well, he works hard and runs a lot.
“I try to do my best every game and if I can’t always play well, I try to run and run and always help the team,” Lamela told Tottenham’s official website. “We always need to show that we want to win.”
“I always look for the team first,” added the Argentine. “If the team wins, I’m happy. If I play well but we don’t get three points, my feeling isn’t good. The most important thing is always to win.”

Lamela has scored one goal and created 14 chances in seven Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the 24-year-old scored five goals and created 75 chances in 34 league matches for Spurs.
The former AS Roma star is a very good player and is a key figure in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

Lamela can be frustratingly inconsistent, though, but as his comments suggest, he does work hard.
While one could point out that the former River Plate attacker should create more chances, there can be no denial that he is a hard-working footballer.
Tottenham fans should be delighted with Lamela’s comments, as they show just how committed he is to the team and how much winning games means to him.
