Wolfsberger are receiving plenty of interest for star striker Shon Weissman but, as president Dietmar Riegler tells Sky, the reported Celtic target has his heart set on a move to England or Germany.
A man who has scored goals for fun over in Austria should have little trouble adapting to life in the Scottish Premiership.
After all, there is not much to choose between two of Europe’s ‘B-list’ leagues.
And Weissman’s remarkable record (he has scored 31 times in 33 games this season) should give Celtic fans confidence that there is life after Odsonne Edouard.
The Telegraph claim that the Hoops will turn to Weissman, if the France U21 international Edouard packs his bags and heads for the exit later this summer.
But speaking about the future of the prolific Israel international on Wednesday night, after another effort was recorded against Hartberg, Riegler suggested that the Premier League or the Bundesliga are more likely destinations for Weissman.
“Of course there have been inquiries,” the president says.

“But these (offers) are not in the areas that interest him. His goals are clearly focused on Germany and England.”
90Min reported earlier in the season, after Wiessman scored twice in Wolfsberger’s historic 4-0 win away at Borussia Monchengladbach, that West Ham, Tottenham and Chelsea were looking closely at him.
The trail has grown cold since then, however.
And a move to Scotland could make much more sense, giving Weissman the chance to adapt to British football at a club who have become something of a stepping stone for talented youngsters with a point to prove.
