Rangers defender Nikola Katic impressed on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers picked up a second straight 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon, beating Motherwell just days after hammering Hearts at Ibrox.
The Gers saw Scott Arfield hit a superb hat-trick at Fir Park on Sunday, which Steven Gerrard would have been delighted with, but the clean sheet was just as impressive.
That was a second straight clean sheet for Rangers, and the performance of centre back Nikola Katic really caught the eye, as he was brought back into the side to partner Connor Goldson.
The Croatian started the season brilliantly, but has been in and out of the side over the course of the campaign, playing just nine games since the end of October.
On Sunday though, Katic was in imperious form, proving to be powerful and dominant up against Curtis Main in the Motherwell attack, as well as being assured in possession.
The 22-year-old was a standout performer, and this close to the end of the season, there’s really no need for Gerrard to take him out of the side again.

Loanee Joe Worrall usually plays ahead of Katic, but he’s heading back to parent club Nottingham Forest in a matter of weeks, and giving Katic some regular playing time before the end of the season would be a smart move.
He’s the defender Rangers will be building around for the future, not Worrall, and after shining on Sunday, it’s time for Katic to get another run in the Rangers side.
