Speaking on his podcast, Phil Hay has claimed that the noises coming out of Leeds United suggest that Liam Cooper’s injury isn’t that bad.
The Scot went down with a knee problem before Leeds’ game against Manchester City, and after a litany of injuries this season, understandably, people began to fear the worst.
However, according to Hay, he’s hearing that this injury isn’t a major one, and he says that the club captain could even be back in action for next week’s game against Arsenal.

Hay shared what he’s been hearing about Cooper’s injury.
“it does sound to me like it’s not that bad, and I can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t rule him out of the Arsenal game, I think there’s a possibility that he might be ok for that one, and they do need him there,” Hay said.
