Speaking on the Beautiful Game Podcast, Yannick Bolasie has admitted that there’s a chance he could join Middlesbrough in January.
The winger of course almost joined the Teesside outfit in the summer, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
Bolasie has seemingly been frozen out at Everton, so it’s no surprise he could be on the move in January, but right now it seems as though he has nothing concrete lined up.
“No, no, right now I would say no, but it might be later on, it might be past Boxing Day,” Bolasie said.
“Man’s looking forward to it, man’s going to see init, you know obviously there’s a chance that man could go to Middlesbrough, but in my heart, things have to be right, and it’s not just pack your bags and jump into this club like it has been the past three times.”

It seems as though Bolasie could be on the move in the window, but don’t expect this to be the type of deal that goes through on January 1st.
It seems as though the DR Congo international will be selective with where he goes in January, and we can certainly understand why.
The winger has had a few failed loan spells in the past, and he doesn’t want to waste another period of his career, especially after a long spell on the sidelines with injury.
We can only hope that Bolasie finds a place he can call home as this podcast appearance has shown he’s clearly still got the hunger and desire to play this sport to a high standard.
Fingers crossed Bolasie gets a move that suits him next month.
