Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hinted that Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota could start together against Real Madrid this evening, to the Liverpool Echo.
Jota and Firmino both partnered each other at the weekend, as Liverpool turned the screw against Arsenal.
The Reds looked impressive as they picked up a 3-0 win over the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, with Jota getting on the scoresheet twice.
And when asked if Jota and Firmino could play together, Klopp hinted that it was a possibility.
“You have to wait until the first whistle goes!” said Klopp.
“Did Zinedine say anything about line-ups in his press conference?
“You have to wait and see, but it looked good hey? It looked really good.
“It looked good in the first half at least against Man City as well. There will be a moment where we give it a try. Is it tomorrow? We will see.”
If Liverpool do utilise Jota and Firmino together later it will obviously indicate their intentions to play on the front foot.

That could be a risk against Madrid, but the Spanish side don’t quite have the same quality as they have possessed in previous years.
Liverpool now will surely feel confident that they can go toe to toe with Zinedine Zidane’s side and it may be that Klopp deems attack to be the best form of defence.
