Clinton Morrison thinks Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Josko Gvardiol is Premier League-bound, with ‘talk’ that Chelsea wants to sign Croatia’s World Cup star.
At 20, Gvardiol impressed the footballing world with his performances in Qatar and Morrison thinks the RB Leipzig centre-back was ‘unbelievable’.
Many Premier League clubs are keen to take him on board ahead of the January transfer window opening, including the likes of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham and Graham Potter’s Chelsea.

Even if it’s not during January, come next summer, there will be big talk about Gvardiol’s future because he was someone that was being talked about before the World Cup.
Either way, former Crystal Palace striker Morrison thinks he is a ‘top player’ and he now feels he will be on the move, as he told Sky Sports News.
“He’s a top player,” said Morrison. “20 years of age. He had an unbelievable tournament. There was talk of Chelsea being linked with him.
“I think he can go in and play for any team in the Premier League, at the moment. I think he’s a fantastic player.
“Some people will say ‘oh what Messi did to him in the semi-final’, well, Messi can do that to any centre-back. The experienced he would have gained at this World Cup and he has become a star.
“For me, he can be on the move in January, and hopefully, it will be in the Premier League.”

GVARDIOL SHOULD STAY AT RB LEIPZIG
Every World Cup throws up a few names that result in players shooting up the transfer list of teams.
Well, Gvardiol will be at the top of those transfer lists, as well as the Christmas list for some fans.
But this is where the rising star needs to remain patient, stay where he is and continue to develop in Germany, before making a call in the summer.
