Could former Leeds United manager Garry Monk become the new Crystal Palace boss?

Simon Jordan has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he does not want Garry Monk as manager of Crystal Palace.
Monk recently resigned from his managerial role at Leeds United despite almost leading the West Yorkshire outfit to a top-six finish in the Championship this past season.
Premier League outfit Palace are on the lookout for a new manager following Sam Allardyce’s decision to step down from the role as the Eagles’ boss.
Former Palace chairman Jordan has suggested on Twitter that he does not want Monk to succeed Allardyce at Selhurst Park.

Monk is a very talented and good young manager, and it cannot be denied that he did a great job at Leeds.
The 38-year-old former central defender had a very good spell as Swansea City manager, and he would be a brilliant appointment for Palace.
The Eagles narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, but the London club should be aiming to push for a top-10 finish next season.
